I have a couple of gibsons from around '06 (fadeds) and it looks like the posts on them are narrower than on a couple of '13 gibsons I have (SG std, LP tribute). Is that the case?

If so when did the change take place and are both bridges still referred to as nashville bridges?

I need to replace the bridge on an '06's and I'm not sure that just getting a "nashville" bridge will work. But I haven't run across anything that actually documents any change or how to specify one vs. the other.

The faber website has a note about this. But apparently your observation is correct. Gibson did make the Nashville post width slightly wider.

If you could post a link to the faber note I'd appreciate it. I don't see it and find their site a little confusing.
