    I need a solution.
A volume knob on my sg was loose and fell off. It goes back on but now I notice when I bend over to adjust things like cables and pedals it slides to the brink of falling off.

    How should I mend? Glue?

Try clear nail polish. A small dab on the knob works great and you'll be able to still remove the knob down the road when you need to clean the pots.

Is it a set screw knob or a slotted post?
If set screw, I like a drop of Lok-Tite blue on the set screw.
If the post is slotted, you could CAREFULLY bend the slot wider with the right sized flathead screwdriver. Not more than a mm or so.

It's slotted! Thank you!! I tried the nail polish thing and we'll see how it works right now when I take it out. Let it dry for over 6 hours while At work
