"I just wish they'd make that exact model, except with jumbo frets, in greenish blue, and with locking tuners. THEN I might buy it, but only if it's $500 max."

If this new collection is what they previewed at NAMM then it's a good change of direction from the awful stuff they've been making for the last few years.

Awesome. Hoping for good things. I'm not a Gibson fan but I'd much rather live in a world where they're kicking absolute ass than vice versa.

The haven’t put the “new collection” up yet. That’s the reason for the countdown clock.

Does anyone have one of these.? I'm interested in replacing my SG Classic for the small guard model but I love the Classic. Anyone know how the necks match up? I heard that these were going to become a standard run rather than limited. Hoping for some other color options. Maybe we'll know soon.

I’m assuming this is the official launch for the NAMM stuff.

I hope because I am really interested in those new standards.

Because too many people like different neck profiles, different electronics, different finishes, etc. Easy to see if you read this forum and others.

Oh, thank you for that information.

In all seriousness, I don’t know what the final descriptions and specifications are until they publish the final info on their website.

I have a TV yellow P90 LP Special on preorder with a “hold” caveat pending final specs and weight. I am excited to see what the final details are on all of the new collection models are that were announced at NAMM.

I need a P90 guitar, as it’s something missing in my arsenal. I’ll be looking at neck profile and weight primarily. A wrap tail sounds perfect.

But, thanks again for your insight.

I would have been very excited about this, but I've been through two 2019 Gibsons in the last month and had to return them instantly because of 0-1 degree neck angles and twisted necks... I just want a Gibson that works.

Guitar players here: "Yeah... *hair flip* I'm not into "brands", it's more the sound and how is speaks to me, you know?"

Also guitar players here: "OMG, what is that brand doing - how could they do this to me? Don't they see how wrong it is!?"

Who cares what models and colors they have, they need to make a quality guitar at a lower price,

I’m having a hard time waiting for that TV Special with the 50’s neck and a wraparound bridge for under $2k. I’ve been planning to get one as soon as they were available. I guess that will be in two weeks

I like the new stuff coming out... played one of those 50's goldtops and the feel/balance/neck profile was amazing... however i just do not like the fretboards... fugly.- looks like what i used to see on low cost fender imports.

Would love to try a few 60th anniv historics!
