I'll admit, I'm afraid of the G-force because it sucks ass.

Gibson needs to streamline their lineup, stop treating guitars like cars. I am not in the market for a LP (or any other Gibson model) but I believe/hope the new CEO knows what he is doing.

When I was looking for a LP a few years ago, I gave up after spending quite a while researching a ton of models they had in their website. Haven’t checked it out ever since.

Then you didn't know how to use it. G-Force works well if you actually read the three paragraphs on what it takes to use it properly.

If they down sized & concentrated on affordable great instruments for the consumer & not profit for shareholders maybe??? I'd think Gibson again. Custom Shop should be 2 weeks wages not 5.
Way better value out there these days.

Supposedly Gibson is going back to the basics. We'll see.

Fingers crossed for a Voodoo JuJu double cutaway non-reverse ES-Explorerbird with an onboard J-station and quad MIDI I/Os....

Not that they'd listen to me. For the Les Paul line: Solid (no chambering, no Swiss cheese) one piece mahogany body. 9.5 lbs or less. Plain top. Grover tuners. Choice of low-med-high output PAF Pups. Choice of three neck sizes, all rosewood fingerboards (NOT laminated). Vintage spec electronics. No PCB's. They're breaking ground with the studio models., keep that going...Price accordingly. Get rid of everything else. Take the "standard", "classic" and "traditional" headstock plates and pitch them.

I'm just curious as to how they weight relief the 2019 LP standards. Still swiss cheese or chambers?

How about the rear routed explorer as a standard issue? In idk.... maybe white with ebony FB and black with an ebony FB. To me this is a no brainer.

The peppermint is for the unpleasant aroma caused by the butthurt!
