gig bag repair?

Anyone know how to repair a small rip in a gig bag? I want to be sure it doesn't get any worse. A plus would making it look good too.

Try a shoe repair place. I had a case worked on by one of these guys and it turned out great.

You could also try an upholstery shop, or if you live by a lake, a sail repairshop!

I repair my hockey gear all the time. Just get yourself some heavy duty button thread and either an upholstery or a curved sailmaker's needle and have at it. If the material is real tough you might want to use vice grips to help work the needle.

Another vote for the shoe repair shop.

That, or sometimes your local drycleaner has either a seamstress or a shoe repair guy on premises.

Wow, memories of my youth. I didn't know shoe repair shops still existed. I haven't seen one in years.
