Can you elaborate? Is it as simple as turning down to zero when not playing?
P90 drool? I'm in!!!
My 2011 60's Tribute.
It gets played at about 80% of my gigs & rehearsals, usually via an AKG wireless unit even. I cannot recall a single time when hum was an issue.
The BJA has a single H90 in it. Well, mine does anyway.
In every single pic I could find of him playing Old Black the selector switch is always in the bridge position
This thread says otherwise, but I think > 90% of the time he’s on the bridge.
Started gigging them more often now. These 2 especially.
Love P90s, they really are the best of both worlds with no real compromise. Fatter than a single, without that scooped scratchiness. I've wanted a Jr forever. A Special feels almost like a cop out, single pickup is where it's at!
Unless you like the middle position "Jimmy Page" tones which I happen to LOVE.
Honestly Gibson does the right. I have stock underwound in my 330 that are fantastic, and I just bought a P94 for a different guitar and I like it just as much.
I played one of the new LP specials at GC this weekend and really, really liked it. All I’m waiting for is for them to release them in something other than TV yellow. Just not my color.
