    wow what a warm sounding es 335!!! what year was that? through what amp? they dont make em like that anymore.

    It's a 1987 model. I was told that the years 1982 - 1990 were pretty good for Gibson with stricter quality control.

    My 1982 ES 175 is a great guitar too.

    my mom used to have a gibson 1960's es 335 but my then father gave it away to one of his buddies!!!! can you believe that!!!! now whenever she hears a newer gibson she says " oh that sounds soo tinny and thin" and she is right but man yours sounds sweeeettt. she said "that is more like the tone i remember coming from them old gibsons" cool huh!!!
