I'm working on my laptop in the back yard and listening to music. I have a Rhapsody subscription, so I can listen to anything I want (within reason). Give me a recommendation for some nice sunny day clean pickin' guitar playing. Right now I'm listening to Albert Lee.

Cool. I'm diggin' it. I just chose what Rhapsody considers his most popular album, Brand New Eyes. Can't beat listening to just a guy and his guitar.

That makes sense. He must play the guitar parts first to a metronome or click or something and then lay the bass on? In either case, that guy's got rhythm in his veins.

Nope. He has a custom made instrument with three bass strings up top, and 5 guitar strings. All played simultaneously! Yep. That is one dude, one instrument.

I knew it was only a matter of time before Chet Atkins was recommended.

Pretty sure its both at the same time. His guitar has both guitar and bass strings with fanned frets. It's a pretty gnarly instrument haha. At least whenever I've seen videos that's what he's playing.

I actually own a Novax 8 string. That is an important distinction shared by myself and other players: We are merely owners not players. :D
