I've always had an interest in the GW.The option of having both HRM and non HRM modes in one amp is very appealing to me as I dig both equally.Plus there are other options galore that make the SOD quite unique and very flexable.
I wasn't really looking for one but,as fate may have it,I was contacted about one for sale and asked if I was interested.Of coarse,so I bought it.:D
Marc and I both agreed it would be a good idea for it to go to Gary first for a checkup and possibly updated. It's a version 1.
Needless to say I'm very excited about getting the amp.
    Thanks Marc.:)
Again thanks to Scott for just being Scott.:AOK
You've always been extemely helpful to me and I learn a lot each time we talk. Thanks man.I'm grateful.

Just wanted to share my excitement with y'all.
Back to enjoying some Modelo Especial.:drink
    Cheers.

I'm also wanting to have the bright switch modded to only function on the clean channel.
Anyone else have their GW like that?

I have mine set up that way, works very well. You can do the really chimey fendery cleans, and then set the fottswitch vertically and you can press all the buttons at once and go to a thick, creamy lead tone.

Hey Sean, the amp arrived and looks to be in good shape. I will take a look at it this weekend.

I will rebox it when it goes out. I am not into peanuts :).

I'm on the list for a new one. Should only be another 12 months... Make sure to let us know how you like it, I'm especially interested in how you like the bright-switch Mod.

My amp should go out it in a few days or so.Gary replaced the signal caps to what he currently uses. Also replaced the main filter caps and changed the power supply voltages to be in line with his current amps.
Also having the bright switch mod done and he is replacing the tubes with a new pair of Winged C's 6L6'.
Also ordered his 112XL cab a week ago.
    Thank you again Gary.:BEER
Can't wait to fire that baby up.:drool
