Wrong. It was not a free play "hurl it up because it can't come back" play at all. But I guess we've identified the NE fan who tends to be the most entitled and least knowledgeable of any NFL fan ever.

It wasn't touched. If you magnify the slide by 200% his thumb never touched the ball. You have to get scientific like the dudes in NY

Still, you cannot blame the score on a ref call. So many other points in the game could have changed the outcomes too... like outscoring the opponent, playing better defense.... the little things.

It wasn't conclusive. To overturn a play that significant, the video has to be conclusive and that wasn't.

Can't be stated enough. No one said they couldn't play.

We just don't know if they can play fair!

We may never know how Brady would do under another system. Montana, however, left San Francisco and led KC to their first playoff wins in over 20 years. Might have taken them to the Super Bowl if he hadn't been hurt in the AFC title game. Also, Montana won an NCAA championship at Notre Dame. Brady couldn't even hold the starting job at Michigan.

Why would Tom Brady leave? And, if I'm not mistake, Montana didn't leave by his own choice...

Tim Tebow won 2 NCAA championships and a Heisman... kinda kills that argument, unless you're gonna tell me Tebow is twice as good as Montana.

As they have said many times about replay... their cameras are often different from the ones on TV. Their ability to see more details frame by frame are better.

It was one call. One call does not make a game.

    Brady is simply the GOAT.

I really hope he gets #6. I can only imagine how long that takes to occur again. The odds, and level of difficulty is off the scale.

Rams are going to be tough to beat. Even if the Pats lose, Brady still has 5 rings. No other QB can say that.

That's actually called refuting your points, but it's all good.
Missed the point? Because I dismantled your post? I don't think so...

A neutral zone infraction is the very definition of a free play, mr football knowledge. It's the same as an offside call, just the guy didn't jump. Look it up, since apparently you need to.

The point was we don't know how he would do in another system. The one example we have, he didn't do so well. How Montana left was not the point. What Tebow did means nothing. So no, you did not "dismantle" my post, you missed the point. Entirely.

And no, it is not the same when a player is lined up in the neutral zone. At the time of the play you don't know the call. Even the announcers thought it was illegal formation. A free play is when you know a player jumped and have nothing to lose.

    Look it up.

You don't think a qb can look down the line and see a guy is offsides? Andy Reid says he knew.

You think he was closer to the play than Brady?

Where in that story does it say that he knew at the time? He says he believes he was. Could have seen it afterwards. And with angles, Brady may have known or not. He could not know for sure that was the call. Could have been formation. With that in mind, it is not a free play. He is not just going to heave it up. You are reaching. You said a neutral zone infraction is the same as a guy jumping offside. But this whole debate is pointless. Look at the play (you have to watch it on YouTube). If he knew it was offsides would he have just dumped it off like this? Brady? Not likely. He would have gone down field.

Don't you still try to throw it to your own guy, even on a free play?

And his personal numbers were better than brady in both, it still remains a team sport.
