    Hearing it in isolation makes you appreciate the subtle dynamics, counterpoint and deceptive key changes not apparent when listening to the commercially-available mix.

    here's a great example of a performance we've all heard hundreds of times in a song we know and love. Yet by today's standards, it wouldn't be acceptable. It's sloppy as hell.

    Yet somehow I think the overall song would be a lot worse if it was tightened up.

    Jimmy page was sloppy as hell and that was what made him sound like Jimmy page, perfection is boring, predictable and overrated.

    Yep. Being on the edge often makes for great music. Lemmy was a one-of-a-kind, that's for sure.
