So I have decided to go digital. Question I have is what product is easiest to maneuver without using a computer. I'd like to be able to do all modifications on the unit itself. I'm deciding between the KPA and FAS. Thoughts?

I've played over 1000 shows with my Digitech gsp1101 rig and, other than a couple software updates, prog ragged it all without pc.

What buddaman71 said. A PC or Mac is necessary for firmware updates, or (obviously) if you plan on doing computer-based recording. With that said, my understanding is that the Kemper's hardware user interface is more intuitive and quick to dial in settings, versus Axe-FX user interface...which MAY make it easier to do patch programming and modifications directly on the hardware. Someone with both an Axe-FX and a Kemper should be better able to advise on this matter, however.
