Yeah...my wife's been dying to see Eddie Money for a while now, and he's playing at a small venue not too far from us. I wonder what these guys have left in them after all of these years...?

Interesting... Is Eddie playing with the guitarist he used to play with during the glory days? I don't know that guys name but he was super underrated that is for sure. I love Eddie!

Looks like Jimmy Lyon is not touring with him. Tommy Girvin is listed on his website as his guitar player now

Eddie is one of the most "real" deal humans ever...Great dude and hearing him sing his catalog live is pretty cool. Even if you don't own the records you will still know every word. I was part of a week long tour with him last year. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play with him, he used the house band. I played with others on the tour. I did become even more of a fan after seeing him live.

....I'm not sure I ever laughed so hard.....Enjoy it.

Eddie is a great guy indeed. In '86, I was lucky enough to give him input into 'Take Me Home Tonight" and was supposed to go into the studio with him, but fate intervened. He was very encouraging too!

I saw Eddie Money warm up for Ted Nugent around 1978 in Philly. He was pretty good but I was there for some Stranglehold and Cat Scratch Fever!

I was in a pick-up band that backed uo Eddie Money in Gainesville, Fl. in 1991. A radio station did a big promo and concert for a charity.

We had a blast. Eddie rocked out and even did some Daltrey style tricks w/the mic.

The show was awesome last night! Lou's appearance wasn't great (I kept remarking on how he looked like a janitor), but his voice was dead on! he played all of his hits and neailed pretty much every one. The guitar players were using either TSL's or JVM's and their tone was very good. Money's voice isn't quite what it used to be, but he was great as well. You can tell that the guy is still really into his music and enjoys performing. his guitar played used various strats and 2 Dual Rectifier's. he sounded great, but the guitars sat a bit low in the mix IMO.

All in all it was a great time!!!
