Here we go, a shot from Churchill's with Sam playing drums with his old mates in the Holy Terrors:

    Yes.

The set was not dominated by the newest album. I actually expected more of the new album than what they played. Quite a few numbers from the first album, and a number from the second album.

    St. Louis setlist:

    Success
    Say Hello To The Angels
    Narc
    Hands Away
    Barricade
    Rest My Chemistry
    Evil
    Length of Love
    Lights
    C'mere
    Summer Well
    Take You On A Cruise
    The Heinrich Maneuver
    Memory Serves
    Obstacle 1

    Untitled
    The New
    Slow Hands
    Not Even Jail

Third time this tour. HOB Boston this Sat. Can't wait. They do interact very much with the crowd. Very gracious and humble imho. Carlos sound is not missed as Pajo does a bang up job. The 2 guitarists are in total sync and Sam is like water flowing smooooooth. John.

David Pajo is cool. He did some work with Paz Lenchantin in Papa M that was earcandy and there was also the Zwan connection between them. Haven't seen him in Interpol because our performances overlapped.

Did you guys know Peter Hook applied for the bassist position when Carlos left? The band never gave him a chance. You would think given the opportunity to have a part of Joy Division join the band, he would have gotten the red carpet treatment.

he could never plays or remember Carlos' bass lines. I've seen Hooky solo several times. Hooky's style is unique and his sound is simply Huge, but he could never do it.

That's crazy- they've always struck me as having some deep-seated Bauhaus & Joy Division DNA. I once saw a Pitchfork POV clip of them- the first thing I noticed was how different the lead singer's "look" was since their earlier albums, like he had sort of ditched the dark, goth-ish vibe. Until I saw a freaking spider crawl up his shirt and into his hair while he sang! Check it here- choose camera angle 2 and watch around the 1:06 mark of "Lights"
    Weird.

That's hilarious, I was waiting for it to crawl in his ear or something and him start freaking out.
