I wanna hear about how your feet feel at the end of the day.....:jo (count on walking a bunch today)

Actually, see if you can try the holy grail tan Dumble-I think you need to call in advance for that one.

YES!!! Take the HR Deville (4\10) and PV Classic 30 (2/12)from the room next to the candy machine, and watch them blow everything away except the Brunos!
    :AOK

    Yes I am 100% serious.

Do they have an Emerald Pro in that room? I'd like to hear how you find it stacks up.

I know nothing about Ultrasound other than that they are a high-end dealer. How does it work, do you rent a room and then get to try out whatever you want privately?

I remember the first time I got a "tour" of the rooms, being overwhelmed by the quantity of high end amps in each room. I joked that they should really bolt those amps down. Without even pausing he said "they are!". Sure enough, every amp had steel L brackets bolting them either to the floor or to a shelf...

So in other words, wsaraceni, bring your tools.:D

I didn't know amps were capable of giving blow jobs.

    :)

Tag, i plan on trying every bruno there, you yelled at me last time for not trying. but i have to warn you. If i dont like them, im not going to say i do. :)

anyways, i doubt they will have a new komet there. if you want to try any specific amps ( i wanted to try a bad cat wild cat) you have to call the sales department ahead of time. We arent going ot buy anything (at least not today) so we didnt bother asking them to drag the stuff around.

I did. Three times. IMO, the Pittbull 45 is their best model. (Have not tried their newest)

I hope not. :) If you do though, I want some credit. Make sure you try an UG 30, Cow45 and 22, and the Bulldog 45 if you are an old Marshall lover. Also, the Cow 45 in the room by the candy machine is totally out of wack, so do not play that one. Lol! Is Gene or Ken going to be there with you?

Some friends and I rented the ultraroom at Ultrasound in early November for the purpose of amp demos.

We played a substantial number of the amps on hand as well as the new Komet 50 limited edition. We have owned a couple of Komet 60s and also played the Komet 60 available in that room. I have to say that we were very impressed with the Komet 50. Enough so that I sold my Komet 60 in anticipation of purchasing a 50 when then standard models are released.

The Komet 50 had all of the complexity of the 60 but a earlier breakup that appealed to us as studio musicians. I felt that in a decent sized room, I wouldn't require a brake as I normally do with the 60. My overall view is that we were able to dial in a wider variety of overdriven styles with the 50 than the 60 at tolerable levels.

Another amp that truly rocked was the Dr. Z Prescription ES. What a verstatile amp. Rich and complex. Great clean and overdriven tones.
