Orange makes great cabs but they are expensive and some people think Orange is ugly!

Either Mojotone or if you are willing to spend the money a Port City over size 2x12.

I just bought a Mesa Recto with V-30s off of ebay. It won't be here for a while, but I had been looking at 2x12s for a few weeks. If you can't afford a Port City, look at the Randalls.

I have an Avatar Traditional Premier G212H with a Hellatone 30 & 60. Good quality and good tone. You can choose your speakers (greenbacks are available), tolex and grill cloth as well as other cabinet designs. Great company to deal with too, based in Idaho.

I don't think the 1936 cabs get alot of praise. I remember folks saying there pretty tight and boxy.

I haven't played a Port City, but the Z-Best has great projection and detail. Swanson also makes very high quality cabinets.

I love my Reinhardt 2x12 cab loaded with his signature speakers. Extremely awesome and well built too.

A great 2x12 cab would be a Kerry Wright cab. Killer sound and the craftmanship is simply a piece of art. Amazing cabs!

I really like the THD 212. Very versatile cabinet and lots of usable low end in a compact package.

To me it offers the best balance between the spaciousness of an open-backed cabinet and enough of the chunk of a closed-back.

I just got an Egnater Tourmaster 2x12 with his Elite 80s from GC. Went on black friday with the coupon and was out the door for $405 new with tax. Sounds great so far. Also have a Bogner OS212, it is the best. I like the Port City cabs, but wouldn't trade the Bogner for one...
