The Guyatone Flip VTX should get you there. It's not leaving my board.

###EDIT### Sorry, didn't see the "cheap" part of your original post.

What's a "Fender style tremolo"? Vibrato?

I put the Boss TR-2 next to my Deluxe Reverb and the TR-2 copies the tremolo/vibrato, perfectly.

BOSS Fender FRV-1 is pretty good too.

Leaving aside that "Fender style" is a little ambiguous, the Throbby (Basic Audio) tremolo is really great.

JMK Tremolo does the trick for me. Has a level control so no loss of volume or presence.

No affiliation but there's a couple Demeter Tremulators in the Emporium right now. I think that's supposed to be a Blackface style. I am partial to the TR-2 myself. Good solid tremolo sounds. With the wave shape knob you can get multiple styles IMO.

So after playing several tremolos I ended up with the Boss TR-2. I want to hate Boss pedals, but I don't. Sounds so good and I know it's going to be trusty and reliable for me.

VHT Melo-Verb. 2 effects in one pedal. Less than $100 new.
