Good gravy!! (vintage Gretsch content)

    I am the current caretaker of a friend's 1966 Country Gentleman. It belonged to her brother and had been sitting unplayed for years.

    A little cleaning of the controls (with a LOT more work to be done), and yikes!!

    This thing through my Palomino... wow. Chorusy cleans, snappy treble and twang to spare. I noodled on everything from the Dead to Neil to Buck to my own stuff, and this guitar purred, roared and sang when I wanted it to.

    I am one lucky, blessed, humble picker.

    Of course, being a "P&W" guy, too, sort of... there had to be some dotted-eighth broken-chord stuff, too :D
