Good guitar tech in Minnesota??

Does anyone know of a top notch guitar tech in Minnesota... preferrably Twin Cities or north (St Cloud?, Brainerd?). I'd like to get a fret polish, intonation and have some new pickups and a new PU switch installed in a 335-type guitar. It's not a really expensive quitar, but it plays well and I've had it for many years. I just really don't want to take it to a hack... and I understand that electronics work on semi-hollowbodies can be a bear.

Any suggestions for a good place to yake it??
    Thanks

I think Ted Vig is doing the repairs for Jim now-a-days. I'm sure he is quite capable of doing a good job.

You could always check with Mike at Dave's Guitar Shop in WI to work on it as well.

Hoffman guitars does quality work, they're near downdown mpls. I do not think they're the cheapest but they do good work. I also have a 335 style guitar (epiphone dot) it was my first "real" guitar i'm starting to gather parts to rewire and upgrade the pickups, the upgrade will cost nearly as much
as the guitar would be worth on the used market.

Any other luthier/repair reccomendations in MN? I'm in Fargo, but want quality. I 've got a vintage guitar that has a headstock break.

Bumping this older thread to see if there are any other recommendations. Opinions on Brown's Guitar Factory?

Rob Dixon of Prariewood Guitars is in Edina, and he does great work.

Emails and phone are: rob@prairiewoodguitars.com or phone at 612.840.3967

What kind of guitar is it?

    Hope this helps, Dana O.
