Any suggestions for good male/female duet covers?

We've got Shallow added, that seems like the most popular one lately.

Any others that seem to consistently go over well.

I just heard about a cover of You're The One That I Want (hoo hoo hoo) by the Lemmings that I need to check out too.

Depends on if your vocalists can sell it or not (and if it's in the right ranges for both), but the Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow one.

If you could cover it, Human League stuff.

    I'm a Man - Berlin

Do "Islands in the Stream" if you're cool enough and let the crowd go wild.

Also for cool cheese factor, any Sonny and Cher - I Got You Babe!

Johhny Cash and June Carter - "Jackson".

    Paradise by the Dashboard Light?

Tina Turner and Bryan Adams - It's Only Love

If you want to go more 70s classic rock-y, "The Core" by Clapton, then this:

This could be done as a duet, as most people think it's a female but it was actually both males:

Of course that opens up tons of songs that were two different males, but a female could take one part - like "You Got That Right".

Any Fleetwood Mac of course :)

Then there's one of my favorites that is really just a male harmony:

    Great guitar part though.

That brings up things like the Eddie Murphy song with Ronnie Spector

    Evanasence...

Plenty more if you want sappy, cheesy love songs, but also all the Abba and stuff like that too.

Lot of Country Music duets too of course.

This one is fun to sing once you accept/surrender to the glibby glop gloopy.

Possibly the greatest male/female duet in history:

Anything by the civil wars. The harmonies are fantastic. “Barton Hollow” and “Poison and wine” are pretty cool if you have the vocal chops.

@Jarrett - Are you looking for songs where the verses are traded off or were recorded as duets? Or just songs that work as a duet? Every song I play with my duo partner pretty much is some form of duet because we both sing. A few that we sing together start to finish are Love Interruption (Jack White) and Come Together. We also do a duo version of Should I Stay or Go (I sing the first and third verse, she sings the second, we both sing the chorus).

Here is the first time we did Love Interruption and it quickly became a keeper.

    I also like these:

    1. "Mockingbird," a Charlie and Inez Fox tune performed by James Taylor and Carly Simon:

    2. "I think It's Gonna Work Out Fine," a not too dissimilar Ike and Tina Turner song performed by Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor:
