Any advice.

I like to leave it on all the time and need a good setting that will bu usable for both.

like level-wise or repeats-wise?

Some slapback sounds would be good to fatten up your rhythm and lead tones- i had my DD5 (and now Dual Tap Delay) set to .8ths with the level down abit and it sounds great for rhythm and lead sounds.

If it's a volume level issue (like, when you kick on a boost for leads the delay level jumps) i'd try running your delay before your dirt. I know it's unconventional, but it really helps keep the repeats level constant
