I'm wondering if anyone out there has them in stock or with a fairly short lead time. Most places I've seen mention 2-3 weeks. I'm thinking about getting something with some clear pine without any covering and finishing it myself. Though it would be nice if they would setup the grill for me since I tend to suck at doing that kind of thing. Also, being able to convert from closed back to open back would be nice.

edit** Doh - I meant TRM..... RJM makes great audio/midi switching gear though....

Tim - at TRM has made me a couple nice pine cabs and recently a pine head shell for my Princeton Reverb. Here's the head and cab....

+1 on TRM. He sells via eBay or direct. Good product and good price. Responsive via email and delivered on time.

I got a 1 x 12 project cab and had him custom make a matching cab that's a set of drawers. So it will look like a mini stack. Pretty cool.

I love my TRM, but I'm not sure how short the lead times are.

Bob Burt - he might have something in stock, might not - convert from open to closed might take extra time.

I have this TRM 1-12" cab, and I use it for guitar and bass. He also makes a version with a 3 piece back.

Tim at TRM is great. So is Joe at Pinetone in NJ. My 12+10 pine cab from Joe has long been the favorite of all cabs I've used.

TRM is the only name that came to mind for me. His stuff is superb. Get the duct ported slant front.

wouldn't quality, configuration and price be more important than lead time on a custom cabinet?

btw, I purchased 2 convertible unfinished cabs from TRM and am very happy with them
