Hey there:) Been thinking about going a little higher on my string height on my R8. Most times I set her up at 3/64 on the treble and 5/64 on the bass at the 12th fret. Any suggestions would be great!!! Thanks:)

Those are standard height adjustments. Why would you ask what our opinions might be for your comfort levels???? Your guitar was Plek'd at the factory. It should be able to take a lower setting if you choose. It could easily take a higher setting. Check your neck relief. If you're comfortable with the truss rod adjustment . . . . then throw your machinists ruler away and set it for your own comfort level and desires.

Just seeing if there were any other numbers out there that people used and felt comfortable with at a higher setting. Are you sure the 2007's were plekked? Thanks for your input!

Plek started with Gibby in '06.
I like around 5/64" at the 12 fret high E and 6/64" for the low E.
