good usb mic for recording needed

    Any suggestions for a efficient usb mic that I can use in my Reaper sessions?

    What kind of recording are you after? Just cheap but decent, or something a bit higher end?

    Shure has both the SM57 and SM58 available bundled with an XLR to USB adapter. Either bundle is $199 from an online retailer near you.

    The preamp/adapter is available separately for $129 if you already have a mic.

    thanks.

    I just want a mic that can capture my voice efficiently. I can add effects over my voice via reaper software, but a mic with added effects would be cool. Whatever I buy will be from ebay though.
