Anyone see the video or story making the rounds yesterday? I'm not going to post it given half of the search examples they demonstrate and some of the undercover executive commentary are political. It's much broader than a political thing though.
It's easy to find, at least until they perhaps start dumping it on YouTube.
It's fascinating to see search results manipulation or editorializing when searching a few different things after watching this.
Google has tremendous power to shape society's access to information.
The whistleblower is basically saying that Google is showing what they think the results should be versus objective lists or even the most popular or most viewed results if those results are not in line with what should be displayed.

Just saw a related story that says YouTube pulled the video(s) down last night.
As such, it may or may not be viewable at any given moment depending on when other channels or individuals repost.

This topic This thread probably will be too hot and controversial and not last

That said, I did order a Paul Reed Smith silver sky yesterday.
The veracity or Latin veritas of it is that it's not silver, nor is it the sky

Thank you very much. No, thank. You.

Not seeing anything unusual. Perhaps already ID'd and pulled down? Search engines other than google are always a good idea though.

In addition to its fundamental misguidedness, a real issue with the "people as sheep" or "sheeple" idea is that it tends to be proffered from the self-aggrandizing perspective that the one suggesting it is somehow not included among them.

This is what happens when there is so much convergence in media and technology. The internet was a lot more fun before it was basically Google/Facebook/Twitter.

That’s good news. I don’t aspire to be a “part” of that flock.

    Maybe I’m misunderstanding.

Are you saying that people who tend to look at a group of followers as “sheep” are secretly jealous that they are not part of the flock?

That doesn’t make sense to me.

In that case atheists who look at Christians as sheep would mean they secretly want to believe in God?

Either way I would think anyone controlling what you read and see should be a concern for anyone regardless of your political beliefs, education, social status etc
