Before I started programming the presets for songs, I wanted a flexible and multifunctional bank.
This is where I'm at for the moment.

For most blocks, I still only use the X function.
    Phaser: Script 90
Drive T808Mod as a booster with hardly any drive and a bit of mid boost
    Pitch1: Whammy
    Pitch2: X=+7 &+12; Y= -12 & +12
Chorus1: still working on that one [IMG]
Chorus 2: panned left in the mixer and line3 paned right. This gives a very wide spread and leaves the middle open in the stereo image.
Delay1: I can change the mix with pedal 3 if I want
Multidelay: for some more reverb like and shimmer or crystals
Looper connected to both the amp line and the fx loop
I use the FX loop for my piëzo's. It has it's own delay that I can mix in.
So when all will be finished, I'll have 14 amps, 18fx for the "amp line" and 2 for the piëzo line.
Oh and because of a nifty feature on the Gordius, I can turn on an effect on one preset, go to another and it will remain on.
So it's actually like having 14 amps at the same time [IMG]
Of course I'll have to figure out which ones to use and if I really need that many.
I'll try to put similar sounding amp/cab combinations in an X/Y block or perhaps a version with less/more drive.
    But the possibilities are numerous.
I've done the following recording to demonstrate how an fx block stays turned on even when changing presets.
I start of with a USA Clean 1 with a delay
next is a Brit 800, delay remains on
    I turn on a phaser,
switch to Plexi Treble - phaser stays on,
switch to Brit Brown - phaser stays on,
switch of the Phaser and turn on a flanger,
switch to Friedman, flanger stays on.
Turn of the flanger, turn on a pitch shifter +7/+12
next, with thre X/Y switch the pitch shifter to -12/+12
switch to Cameron High, pich shifter stays on but goes back to the X setting +7/+12 because the X/Y are not programmed to retain their state.
    turn of the pitcher.
Next is the Euro Uber till the end..

Nice setup. I'm using the Ultra and the LG2. Only the Axe II and the LGX could be more flexible. I'm jealous!

Actually, I'd keep the LG2 just because I need a smaller footprint. But the extra switches would come in handy.

This setup would work with the Ultra as well.
My son has an Ultra and a LG2.
With the new commands, you're no longer limited to One bank and D1 and D2 as extentions.
Each preset can activate a different bank on D1 and D2.
So If you use the bottom row as amp banks, you can have two banks of eight IA's each with effects.
The retain effect state is way cool.
You can switch amps and the effects can stay on or turn back on when returning to the preset where you previously activated the effects.
The only thing we need is some sort of screen to see what the switches do ;)
