This just came through the shop, and I had to ask if I could shoot some pics and share them. The guitar is just too cool, one of Ren Ferguson's (I think) Custom Shop SJ 200s with Braz back and sides. As perfect an acoustic as I've seen in a long time, has that awesome Gibson sound that I imagine as making Martins jealous. "Refined cannon" was the term that came to mind. So much USEFUL low end, and tons of midrange detail, with just the right amount of cut and shimmer with no "clang." It once again made me realize that ebony boards are great, but they have to be the right thickness or they overstiffen the sound. This one is still haunting me.

Anyone else got one of these? How many did they make? I MUST HAVE ONE.
