and man is it fantastic!!! I have been looking for a replacement for my TC Arena. Not that the Arena sounds bad but I just am not jiving with it.

The Context has great verb options and the delay is excellent and a nice addition. The Plate and Cathedral sound magnificent.

Looking forward to spending more time with it this weekend for sure.

Odd thing to mention but it was a bit smaller than I expected which is nice. It's sometimes hard to gauge how much real estate a pedal is going to take up on your board. Also love the blue color. In pics and vids it always seems more gray to me.

that's a sweet sounding pedal, the Cathedral, Hall and Plate were impressive while briefly demoing one. Didn't mess with the delay, what sort is it?

    Congrats! :aok

Been eye-balling this as I have yet to
    discover the all-in-one reverb solution
    for my needs and tastes.

The delay on it is a fairly straight ahead digital delay with some warm high end roll off, no modulation. It sounds really good and mixes in well.

I love how the reverb tails decay naturally when the Context is turned off.

Seems like a pretty solid digital delay that allows you to mix in verb as well. It is replacing my TC Arena and DL-8 for gigs with my Splawn. I usually have those 2 and a chorus as "always on" pedals when doing my rock/metal gigs. I like the idea of dropping a pedal in the chain. I got it around a 550ms delay with 2 light repeats. Sounds excellent. I'll get clips soon.

Nope, it's mono in & out and $300 in Oz
You'd think for that sort of money you'd get at least stereo outs
Looks like I'll stick with the HOF for the moment

That's why I mainly buy used down here..an Eventide Space is still $649 (reduced from $799) retail
I was lucky to score my Timefactor & Infinity for $250 each used earlier this year so I'm happy

Does the pre-delay do a good job of preserving pick attack?

I love reverb, but pedals always wash out the attack and change the sound/feel too much for me (when being used for just subtle ambiance). My current amp has neither on-board reverb or an effects loop, so I'd love to find a pedal that retains that feel going straight-in...

I think it does a great job in that regard.

Get one of these. Mine arrived today, so I haven't tested it yet, but it should do a good job of mixing in the clean
There's smaller versions, but I got this for my big board (and it's the earlier version)

Yes I've considered a parallel loop, but would rather find a one-box solution so as to save board space, cables/connections and power supply taps. That Super Blender looks intense!
Thanks, was hoping to hear that!

I have the TC HOF. I really like the room, hall, and church modes.

How would you say the Context compares to those TC modes?

I'm certainly not looking to replace the HOF, but just add to…

    Thanks!
