well not sure if it was cheap, but compared to everything else I've played it was very cheap so I wasn't worried to make a wrong buy here, but woohoo this amp is great!
    So here it is

Yep Crate Palomino V32. 4 EL84s, Tube Reverb, Two Channel with Boost.
I'd say a perfect complement to my Chandler C38. Very good cleans, not quite chimey like an Alessandro but still very good cleans (I still have to play around with the tubes)
Besides that it can give medium to hi gain with a boost to go over the top.
All in all for 4 EL84s it is not too loud (I think it is about 30 Watts or so) and it sounds great through my 1x12 Tonetools Scumback loaded cab!
I can see room for improvements though plus I don't know how reliable it is yet since I only had it for a short time.
    1. It could use a little more chime on the cleans (maybe other tubes will help there)
    2. It could use a 1/2 power or MV to make it a bit more bedroom friendly ... (that's just me)

Does anyone know if you can pull two tubes out?
Also any tube recommendations, since I've never been much of an EL84 user I don't know what the good ones are out there.

Im still raving about my V32 combo a 1 1/2 later. Best tone for the buck out there IMO. I installed unknown brand old stock 6BQ5's in my and it really makes it growl when cranked! Great cleans and dirt!

You CAN NOT pull tubes on this amp as its cathode biased and shares a common resistor. Doing so will cook the remaining tubes in short order! Bob

6BQ5's vs. the EL-84s? What does that to the cleans though?
