Got rid of my Riot... regret it... advise!

So I LOVED my riot. Traded it for a Elements and hated it. Got a SLO to replace that hated it too. The Riot was AMAZING thru my amp.

Before I go out and buy another Riot...

What other pedals are like it enough that I won't flip them in 1-2 weeks?

The only thing I can even fathom to suggest would be a pinnacle deluxe. That riot sounds pretty cool though.

I'm on my 2nd RIOT pedal. Regretted selling the 1st one, so I got another. Still not sure about it. Seems a bit scooped in the mid's. Will give it another

what works for me is buying before selling.. so i don't regret giving up something... then again, you might end up keeping both..

^^^ Was about to suggest the same thing, if possible. It's invaluable to be able to A/B pedals, to really hear the differences.

I also was about to ship back my Riot to try something else, but realized that it did what it does SO WELL, and that I should keep it around.

Yep. Get the Screwdriver mini deluxe. You will be fine. Better off than before.

Try something from Bearfoot, I couln't make the Pinnachle DLX,or the SLO work with my rig. The HoneyBeest just Rocks for me, but you might want to try the Dyna Red Hot.

Different beasts for sure but I ended up preferring the Wampler Pinnacle Deluxe to the Riot but the Riot was definitely stellar. The Pinnacle just gets to close to the classic Brown sound and as such has a more vintage vibe compare to the more modern sounding distortion of the Riot.

My only complaint whatsoever of the Pinnacle is that it is pretty noisy. (Using humbuckers)
