I can't wait to get this pedal. I just got the call today, and he said I should have it by monday or tuesday.

Contact Alf via email, then paypal him. That will get you on the list.

I'm on the first batch list for the Zendrive 2. Alf told me not to send him money until he contacts me...
In either case, an e-mail or phone call to him will start the process. Then if he wants the money up front, he can let you know that.

Cool! I'm 7 weeks in on my wait from ToneFrenzy. Initially I was told a 4-6 week wait.......but that's past. I heard Jeff got in another shipment from Alf, but nothing yet on my doorstep. I even had a dream the other night it arrived LOL! I'm obsessed! I'll wait as long as I have to!

I'm thinking that 4 month delay was due in part to the hurricane.

Yikes! Four months? Maybe the guys who are paying through the nose on Ebay aren't as crazy as they've been made out to be.

    Obviously you've never been a one-man operation...

I don't know how builders like Alf, Sean, and PaulC handle all their orders and not have year-long wait. These guys have day jobs - they aren't Boss or MXR...

Well i also think that he has got hamered since the Guitar Player adds, and Guitar One. I bet it will get a lot worse before it slow down again. I'm so glad I didn't abbsess about it, because I would have been biting my fingernails off everyday.. The Huricane did screw up some of his orders, but I think Guitar Player has just put Alf over the top, and I'm glad because he makes a good product, and maybe it will push other companys to do better, and other's not to charge so much.. The Zendrive is the new Klon. He He..

Actually, I have, just not as a pedal maker.

Don't get me wrong, I fully support the independent guys, and to that end I have purchased/ordered from Paul C., David Barber, Butch at Bayou, and yes, Alf Hermida (I ordered a Zendrive in mid-Nov, before the GP article came out). While I thought the approx. 6 weeks he quoted in his e-mail sounded optimistic - I assumed 8-10 was more likely - still, the prospect of that turning into four months is startling. I'm hoping the 4 month thing was just an abberation due to unforeseen hurricane/supply disruption. I have read that Alf has taken some steps recently to help boost his production capacity. I hope it all works out for him and his pedal business has a tremendous year.
