Went to Vegas and got invited to a private party. Grace and the Nocturnals rocked it and look who showed up for the last few tunes.
The Rev was plugged straight into a JCM 900. They played One Way out,
Hey Joe, Tush and encored with Wild thing. The nocturnals had s#*&$ eating grins on their faces and Billy was pretty enamoured with Miss Grace. A good time was had by all.

You must be one of my ex-wives. At first I was thrown off by your name.

Nope. Just envious as hell. I like to refer to Grace as my future second wife. Fortunately, since my current (and lovely, and wonderful...) wife knows there's a snowball's chance, she takes it in stride and goes on with her life.

She really something. Second time I've seen them. For a band of youngsters, they really do a great job coping a 70s guitar band vibe. Bass player is different than the first time I saw them. He played a right handed strung Fender upside down. When he slid over to keyboard, One of the guitar players, picked up the bass, flipped it over, and re-attached the strap and played it righty.

As for the jealous part, it would probably only make it worse if I mentioned all the free drinks and great food. Not very often, but every once in awhile, it's great to be me.

Very, very cool. So, the dark haired chick (Chirstine Popper? I think) wasn't playing bass?

    Lucky guys.....

I did not know who Grace Potter is until a few nights ago... I woke up kind of stressed out feeling at 2am and couldn't go back to sleep. Went downstairs to watch some TV... I turn it on and by chance on comes "Live From Dary'ls House." I see this beautiful blonde woman with a great voice singing and playing a Flying V (song Paris Oh La La). Backing her up is DH on a Thinline Tele and Paul Pesco wailing on a Strat. It was like watching a dream.

Live From Daryls House Grace Potter - Episode 45.

I love the chick, the tele, the tele color, the player (William), the model of amp used with that tele & particular player, the thread, and the thread title.

I am so very in. Had to be jaw-dropping to see and hear.

I've heard of Grace Potter but this is the first time I ever heard her sing and all I can say is WOW!!! The band was tight and right! Is/was live form Daryl's House a regular cable show? I need to check out more of his jams/musical guests...etc!
