1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

One of my friends mixed two tracks on the Kacey Musgraves project. He's there tonight. I think she won best country performance.

Awards shows suck, The Grammys are an awards show, so they suck. And even if they weren’t, they’d suck anyway. And music sucks.

Made it thru much of one performance but tired of the vibe when the vaginal pants began dancing.

My niece and her husband won their first Grammy tonight for their work on the Best Children's Album. I'm super-proud of them!

The last good Grammy's show was when Christopher Cross won 20 awards and used a Dumble when he played. I've seen no Dumble's tonight, so it sucks.

I don't like to have to explain stuff like irony and self deference.... but the thread picks fun at us (lightly) and it has a companion thread here: (complete with a spelling error in the title).

My fave was when Jethro Tull won Best Hard Rock/Metal recording over Metallica in 1989 and metalheads lost their sh## - because nothing matters more to the angry metal underground than the glitz and glamour of The Grammys.
