Just bought one, the seller is still going to ship it, but the nut broke on the low E string, so I'll replace it. I don't have much experience with this, I've bought the wrong one a few times, that's what I'm asking. My first option is always Graphtech because I can find it easy enough. I found two recommendations: PQ6010 and PQ6114, but I can find out which is the one that will work the best. Any ideas on which would be the correct one?

are you set up with the right nut files and all that to get it installed and actually playing right? they don't just "go in".

Yeah, I have the whole thing. I'm used to installing precut nuts and making adjustments, but not making them out of a blank.

well then off the top of my head i have to assume the "gibson-style" 6010 is what you want. as long as it's close or a little bigger, and the string slot spacing is good, the rest you'll be filing and sanding to fit anyway.
