I'm interested to know if there is an elite group of highly sought after pedals that are no longer available to buy new.

The Boss vibrato vb2 seems to have an ever soaring used price.

A lot of the early Snarling Dogs stuff was interesting, although off-the-wall at times. I still use their VeryTone pedal as a clean boost. I wish I had picked up one or more of their Wah's but they were out of stock every time I had the extra cash available.

DOD also had some interesting effects back in the 90's. I have an EchoFX analog delay and a VibroThang vibrato that I like. Neither get much love today because they're DOD and don't do cool things like true bypass. The MeatBox has a lot of bass player fans.

Lovepedal Eternity Burst. I'm looking for a coupon model that is in good condition, but I can't bring myself to spend more than $100-150 on one and some of the prices I see are OTT.

This probably doesn't qualify because it's not a pedal(or highly sought after), but it's definitely unique.

The Ludwig II Phase synthesizer. Bizarre and loaded with sounds, can't imagine much of a market for it though.

I like the marshall pedals. The later ones built like tanks. I've had the trem and supervibe. Now all I have is the regenerator and echohead. Some places have them at insane prices, but there are deals to be had.

I haven't tried most of these in person yet, but:

    Yamaha MagicStomp (own)
    Yamaha UD Stomp (I wish)
    Digitech PDS3000 (yeah right)
Digitech Space Station (yeah right part 2)
    Sonic Crayon Antinautilus (waiting..)
Lexicon Vortex (It's on the mail!)

I'm all about the crazy hard-to-replicate-by-behringer stuff, **** overdrives and fuzz.

I personally miss the original Aphex 1404 Punch Factory optical Compressor.
    Grey Ross Compressor
The big Black Marshall drives. shred master, drive master, blues breaker.

    Penny Pedals Fingerprint fuzz.
Russian Muff. I remember when they were incredibly cheap. I wish I had grabbed one of those instead of the American buzzy one.
