Great Rock Bands that should have had more commercial success ?

I'll start with the Good Rats. Just listened to a few CD's yesterday , and took me be back to my college days ..... had some off the wall songs, but also some great tunes.

A typical Long Island club back then would have Zebra, Good Rats, Twister Sister and Rat Race Choir on Mon-Thursday ....

Yeah, I saw them play when I was about 14, and was totally blown away. I think that they were ahead of their time - major radio wasn't ready for funk-rock yet.

Pride and Glory. Only 1 album sadly. Then Wylde went and started BLS.

Pillar was also pretty great IMO. Much better than your average "Christan rock" band.
