I'm hoping the cherry sunburst sells out and they replace it with the natural one, which I prefer.

I wish I had the funds I would buy one. I have a Comanche and love it so another G&L would be most welcome to the collection.

Because he can't figure out a way to post pictures of his Kramer Ripley and numerous other guitars in this thread, and have it be relevant. :p

Get over the hate from HC Ansell.
Why the interest in the Ripley?

I bought the Deluxe II on the Stupid Deal and changed out the pups for GFS Mean 90s. Played it at a jam session a few weeks back and it kicked ass. Great feeling and looking budget axe.

Axe4Me has one that he has posted pics of at least 7-8 times in the past year. I was ribbing him about it, after he took a shot at the G&L for some reason. It's apparantly beneath his standards, because he owns a bunch of "fancy" guitars that he likes to brag about at any opportunity. Sorry for the detour.

Man I wish I wouldn't take a beating bringing one of these over the border. Killer deal.

That is/was a great value, but that cherry burst leaves a lot to be desired. Were there other colors offered?
