Looking for a great valve sound at home. Narrowed down to these:

    Fender Reverb Deluxe Reissue

    Vox AC15 (TBX)

    Fender Rivera Concert (Vintage)

    Vox AC15 Handwired

    Fender Princeton 1964 Vintage

Bit confused as to whether to go for a used vintage amp or go brand new and make modifications where necessary?

It's hard to beat a Princeton.

vintage, baby. those things are wonderful. however, each specimen is unique. some are less healthy than others.

Of the amps you listed the only one I have is the AC15 Heritage hand wired combo and I'm very pleased with it, although it can get very loud. My favorite tones are on the EF86 channel. Beautiful changly/chimey cleans and light dirt when pushed.
