Wonderful tweed tones but not limited to just that. Stacks nicely too. I am using a Muleskinner amp, EQ Cables, and a vintage SG Standard with Righteous Sound Bethel humbuckers.

How does this compare to say the Catalinbread Formula55 or the Lovepedal Les Lius, that is if you have any experience with them? Does it do the Neil Young exploding amp sound that is such a great characteristic of tweed amps?

It's more amp-like than the Les Lius in my opinion.

What's interesting is that it uses an Op-amp instead of Transistors, which seems to be the way most of the tweed-in-a-box pedals operate. How much gain does it have?

Honestly I don't recall as I borrowed it from a friend.

6+ month old thread resurrected this week, but this pedal just hit my radar... man Andy's demo sounds killer! I have owned a few tweedish pedals and currently own a '59 Bassman. :aok

I have owned two Greer pedals and they are killer! I may have to give this one a try for my VVRI? :dunno

I’m also curious to know if it gets the Neil young amp exploding sound. Anyone care to weigh in? I read I believe in the Premier review that the bass doesn’t fart out the way the old tweets do when dimed. Not sure if they meant that it takes a way some of that endearing loose low end, or if it retains that while mitigating the fartiness.
