    Greetings folks! I've actually been around a little while, but realized I never introduced myself.

    I'm Ali from the San Francisco area and thus far have found this forum to be an amazing venue for information, buying and selling, and just meeting some all around kick ass people. Kudos to the admins and moderators for putting together a great board and fostering a great community.

    Here's my current rig:
    Les Paul Standard(s) || Les Paul Classic || 90's Fender Stratocaster ->

    TU-2 -> Morley Mark Tremonti Wah -> CS-2 -> Klon Centaur -> Lovepedal BBB07 -> Lovepedal Eternity -> Ibanez DL10 Delay - > Holy Grail Reverb -> Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble

    (stereo out to) ->

    [-> Demeter TGA-3 (one of the most underrated amps on the planet) to Mesa Rectifier 4x12 cab with Celestion Vintage 30's
    [-> Vox AC30/6-TBX with Alnico Blues

    I also mess around with another Demeter TGA-3 combo (yep, I DO love them Demeters :dude ), an Orange Tiny Terror, and a Crate Palomino.

    Thanks for listening to me blather on.

    Ahhhhh, SF, my favorite city. I try to get out there at least every couple of years for a visit. I used to live down in Santa Cruz many moons ago.

    Thanks Dig! Coincidentally enough, I was actually in Santa Cruz (and Capitola) this past weekend. It was a beautifully warm and sunny weekend, and we had a blast hangin' out at the boardwalk during the day, and downtown on Saturday night.

    Hey Matt, yeah I've noticed a pretty large Bay Area contingent here. Pretty cool. And like Andy says, I've succumbed to the allure of the deadly mistress known as GAS. She's brought down many a good man. I hope I live to survive her (i.e. hope the girlfriend doesn't kill me! :) ) Regardless of all that though, I'm always open to hearing what ya got. Shoot me a PM or somethin'.

    I've read a bit of your Dad's blog too man. Definitely wish him (and you and the rest of your family) the best man.

    I heard a Demeter TGA-3 in person at a Jam thing where 20 or so guitarist show up and no one knows how to heard the cats. Lucky it was in an old aircraft hanger. I was surprised to hear the sound of the Blackface in class A mode. Very warm and with a HUGE presence ! The TGA-3 I purchased will be the 6V6 version but it will still be able to eat 6L6's with a bias adjust.

    The only other Class A amp I have is a Scumbag Captain Crunch 212 combo with 4 6V6's. The voicing is very different on the Scumbag but I believe they will be harmonious when I blend them in stereo..

    The thing I really like about the TGA-3 is that it is one amp with 3 flavors.. Like my Bruno S-100 (tweaked by Andy Fuchs).. it is truly a unique amp. Like you say it is underrated by at least 3 orders of magnitude !
