    Hello everybody!

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Peter, and I live in the highlands of Scotland. I have been playing the guitar since the age of three, when my father (an ex-professional guitarist and bassist himself) taught me how to play a few basic chords, and a lifelong obsession was sparked. My current number 1 guitar is a 1956 reissue Gibson Les Paul goldtop, which I can honestly say is the best guitar I have ever owned, and I hope to buy a Marshall Bluesbreaker combo in the new year to complement it.

As you can tell from my screen name, I am a huge fan of Ronnie Earl! I also like The Stone Roses, The La's, Rammstein, The Rolling Stones and Simon & Garfunkel. Aswell as all of that, I enjoy learning languages and reading.

Looking forward to meeting all of you in the near future, and let me wish you a merry Christmas and a very happy new year!

Thankyou very much for the replies, everyone!

Blutac - yes, the goldtop is absolutely gorgeous! It has quite a thick neck, but I actually find it more comfortable to play than the thinner-necked Gibsons; and the tone is just unbelievable!

    Cheers, everyone!
