I was disappointed with it when it came out originally. I think Cher screwed his
    brains out

Love that album. Those guys had a groove right there.

Interesting...I'm guessing a few might have missed the initial release and they are trying to capitalize on his catalog.

The cynicism, here, is pretty staggering. To each his/her own, I guess. "Laid Back" is one of my personal favorites and Gregg Allman is one of my favorite singers. I can't wait for this one.

    He's one of mine too...

I'd rather listen to "I'm No Angel" or "Just Before the Bullets Fly" than his older solo stuff, and even that's a stretch.

I played the grooves off of "Laid Back" and Dickey's "Highway Call" when they were new. I still listen to them from time to time. I don't need a deluxe edition of "Laid Back" but the the Gregg Allman Tour album would be cool nice to have.

Likewise. I also went to shows on both Gregg's and Dickey's tours for those records. Gregg's show at L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium was one of the loudest shows I've ever attended. Go figure.

    They hadn’t met yet.

The initial release of all the unreleased material?

Both albums are so, so good.
