Looks pretty sweet in my book. What do you think?
Very nice! Although that dark on red piping look reminds me a lot of the 80s:
Like the gray. Not such a fan of the red binding though.
Nice to see Gretsch make some more "modern" styled guitars. I bet it sounds killer like pretty much every Gretsch does, but looks wise, it's way too "modern" for my taste. But still, nice to see them try something new!
looks like something you would see in the trunk of a ferrari and probably almost cost as much. very cool I'm just stuck on the classic style gretsch's
Pretty sweet, indeed! I think the red binding looks great.
Oh. My. God.
I don't like the juxtaposition of the classic or retro Gretsch lines and that color scheme.
Looks pretty boss to me!!
Oh, and btw, i do like black on red on a gretsch, if it's like pinstriping and not just straight binding:
That way it's more hot rod than 80 mod.
Not my favorite, but I like my Gretsch's to be the more classic colors.
And about 3/4 the way through this video, Stephen Stern talks about designing this particular guitar.
So much GAS, so little cash =(
i actually think that looks seriously bad-ass and i like it.
As someone who recently went nuts over this...
I can surely appreciate an all business gretsch...
I agree with several others. I dig the guitar and the finish in a badass, Harley Fat Boy kinda way, but I'm not feeling the red binding as much as I would a red pattern on the top.
I think against the matte/satin gray, glossy black would be my binding choice.
I like it because it seems so unusual.
I absolutely love that!
