I play a Gretsch 6120 and I thought just for the hell of it I'd try a set of Gretsch guitar strings, which then got me thinking, are these simply Fender strings re packaged?

They are actually Snake Oil Strings is what I've heard.

It explains why no one can get their orders filled--he's sending them all to Gretsch!!!!

I bought a few Gretsch Electromatic Strings I bought on clearance from the local guitar store.

They were the very worst strings I have ever used.

They broke quickly and not just the E-strings.

I am using Snake Oil's now and I am pretty sure they are not the same.

If they are he is selling a lower grade to them.
