I've got 2 Grosh RC's.
There will be more of Don's guitars in my stable down the road.
Hard to beat a Grosh.
Guitars are such individuals. I think both are on par with each other. It comes down to specific individual guitars. I owned a Grosh that was truely something special, and owned a Grosh that was pretty dead sounding, couldn't sell it fast enough. Same with Fender Custom Shop
Thanks for the replies!
I own both. Get both.
Price wise, you can't beat a used Grosh RC. Great guitars that certainly hold their own or even surpass the Fender Custom Shop depending on your personal tastes.
You gotta play em. I personally like Grosh Retro Strats over Fender's.
But thats just me!
FWIW I've had one RC and two WW10's and I prefer the WW's.
Me too... but I've had great success buying sight unseen too. Thus the value of buying used with a brand that (usually) holds its value
I lean towards Grosh. But love Fender, too. They have really ramped up the CS stuff and the price points are all over. For the higher end I prefer the smaller builder like Grosh, Suhr & Tyler. But Fender build at the CS level is typically great, maybe 80/20. Their production build are 50/50, imho.
