GSP1101: stateful volume CC?

Can you assign a CC# to a global volume parameter that keeps its state even when switching presets? IOW, will the position of the volume pedal on your MIDI controller be maintained preset to preset rather than jumping back to the volume stored in the preset?

I don't have a GSP, but in the old days I had a 2101, J-Station, and various PODs, and IIRC only the POD would "read" the volume pedal patch to patch.

With the Control 2 you can, you need to turn on the feature called "volume update".
Then the position of the volume pedal will stay the same as you change presets.

I use a fcb and it functioned this way as soon as I plugged it in.
