We had a beautiful day today. A birhtday party at the park for my son. So my brother shows up and hands me a plastic bag. What's this? a strange purple box with knobs and a switch. It is indeed his old (83 or so) Ibanez AD9.
Now he gave me the dead TS9 from the same era but I have not been able to bring it back to life yet.

This was different. I got home, plugged it into the fx loop of my mark IV and there it was, beautiful analog delay.

    Total cost to me. $0.00.

    What a score.

Yeah, My son's birthday and I get a cool present.
My brother is no longer playing so his stuff has been sold or given to my nephew but this piece was just collecting dust so it ended up with me. I now sits proudly atop my MKIV and will occupy that space from here on.
