Guild X-500?

Anyone have one of these?

Especially one with P90's.

I've got a friend who owns two. One is a Blonde Maple with P90's & the other is a Vintage Burst with the smaller humbuckers oh what are they called?

Hmmmm.....


Anyway, been looking for a good one that was made before Guild moved operations from Rhode Island to California for over a year now.

Damn hard to find for a fair price.

HUGE hollow body anyone here have one?

Are you talking about a pre-1963 X-500 with Franz P-90s or a more recent one with Duncans?

I have a 2002 X-500 - one of the last of the Westerlys. They're quite easy to find for a reasonable price on Gbase, Ebay and elsewhere. I greatly prefer the neck and pickups on the Westerly guitars to the Corona models. Anything in particular you want to know?
