Okay all you doubters out there, I have to tell ya that I finally found a modeler amp combination that I like. I'm talking about plugging the modeler into the input jack of the amp. Sure, I like my analog pedals too, but I have a 3-channel loooper bypass switch that allows me to switch between the modeler and the analog pedals and bypass everything as an option too.

What is working for me is the Digitech GSP1101 through the Marshall JVM410H. Also, in the past, I discovered that the DSL50 was very forgiving with modelers and even though I don't have one now, I would imagine it would also work with the GSP1101

I've had good experiences (and compliments from soundmen of all levels) with a zoom g2 into various lower wattage tube amps.

I currently use a randall rm20b with the blackface module (lotsa headroom) & this setup does all I need.

My Vamp PRO through my modified EPI VJ has some killer gain and clean models. I would not be ashamed to use it out.
