I wasted all that power??
I started what I thought would lead to an awards banquet, now its turned into a cage match!
Oh, c'mon. You know better than that around here!
Epiphone Mini-humbuckers; isn't that the original LP Deluxe pickup?
Jason Lollar Blondes.
I have to go with Fralin Blues Specials
^ I like those too and Lindy is a cool cat.
You should rename this thread Guitar Pickup Cage Match!
Now you see all that power was an illusion. Muahhahahahaha!
They call this behavior "TGP".
If we're talking historical significance, i.e., gamechangers:
My personal favorites are typically found in sets:
Super Distortion/PAF 36th
Barenuckle Nail Bomb
Parallel Axis TB2/TB Stack x 2
Mare: "Josie/Vaughn" Strat pickups...ended my mid 60's tonal chase!
PRS: 635 pickups in the Silver Sky...they got it right for the mid 60's sound!
The only guitar I can ever recall playing and saying "damn those pickups sound good" was a early 80's LP Custom with T-tops.
Schecter superrocks and z plus
Lollar Special T bridge is easily the most amazing, versatile, dynamic pickup I've experienced.
Which Arlo pickups did you have and why *not* them?
And the same can be said for the Lollar Special in the bridge position of a Strat.
